June Newsletter 2026

Latest News:

There’s not a lot of news right now in the Dynamic Dog Art world.

Items are slowly getting added to the Etsy shop.

Up until now it has mainly been T-shirts, but I’m working on some listings for mugs and sweatshirts.

Little by little. Eventually, there will be a nice selection to choose from.

In The Studio:

I haven’t made any new art lately, but I definitely have ideas that I want to pursue when I have a little more time.

Top of the list is to revisit my Da Vinci themed pieces that were inspired by the Vitruvian man… I really want to try Italian Greyhound and Chihuahua versions, maybe even of Boston Terrier, they can keep those Galgos and Podencos company.

At some point, I will get back to my neglected social media accounts. I enjoy posting, but right now it feels like there really isn’t enough time in the day to get things done.

At Home:

Things have been pretty quiet at home (which is the way I like it).

I keep planning to plant my baby tree, in place of the very large old tree I had removed.

Every time I think I’m going to do it, I decide to do some other yardwork chore first, it takes longer than I expect, and I run out of time for that day.

Hopefully, I can finally get it done next weekend.

I just need to check first to make sure the very high temperature is being predicted won’t have a negative impact on the tree.

I got good news about my little mojo (Chihuahua).

I got good news about my little Mojo (Chihuahua).

He had a couple of elevated values on his blood work last month. One of the possible reasons for that was a “stress leukogram”. Which just means that his stress level at the time of the blood draw was affecting the test results.

He doesn’t seem “stressed“ at the vet. In fact, he’s quite happy to visit with everyone. But he does get carsick on the ride to and from.

We gave him some meds, one to help with anxiety and one to reduce the nausea, did a recheck, and all was back to normal (yay!).

Both dogs seem healthy and happy, with plenty of silliness, rowdy play, and sweet snuggle time. It makes me happy to see them so happy.

I hope your summer is off to a wonderful start, with lots of pretty days and fun times!

And hopefully this summer spares you from the brutal heat.

Thank you for being here!

Jennifer
