Latest News:
There seems to be a notable lack of news at Dynamic Dog Art headquarters.
A pause has occurred in the much loved art and Etsy shop activities.
There’s nothing wrong, and it wasn’t planned. I’ve just gotten a bit busy with little projects around the house, things have been putting off for too long, some outside, some inside.
I feel like some little critter trying to prepare for hibernation in the months ahead. I’m trying to get a bunch of things done now, so that I can snuggle in with the dogs when the weather gets cold, and draw and paint, and work on that little Etsy shop.
In The Studio:
Not surprisingly, given the information above, the “studio” is currently a place for ideas and lists of things to work on when life shifts back to art and Etsy mode.
Lists of things I want to draw and paint, lists of things to add or edit for the shop. I’m looking forward to working on these things, but at the moment it feels good to check a bunch of little home maintenance projects off the list as well.
I don’t even realize how some of the little things contribute to my anxiety on a daily basis until they are done and I feel more at ease.
At Home:
Home life is good, and the dogs are such great little troopers when I’m working on all the chores.
Sometimes as I’m working on something I hear quiet snorting sounds, I peek over and the two of them are just wrestling together on the couch or the bed. It’s so cute! And I love that they entertain themselves while I’m busy.
Oh, and the weather here has been fantastic! We have been having a long stretch (a few weeks) where the daytime temperatures have been in the mid 60s (F) and no rain. It gets pretty cool at night, but the days have been mostly sunny, very comfortable, and the leaves changing colors is beautiful.
I hope your October has been lovely! I hope you are getting lots of opportunities to be outside with your dogs, enjoying some gorgeous weather before the winter comes.
Wishing you the best! God bless!
